I haven't read that much about it to be honest, trying not to make myself too excited But I like what I've heard so far! I've always enjoyed the generations, legacy and family part of the game

If you don't follow Spring4Sims there's more info here. I agree Thea. This sounds like it will be perfect for my playing style.

I haven't really had a chance to see this yet, so thank you for posting it, Whitney! Edit: After seeing some of the new images of what we'll be getting, I can't wait! There's a house I've kept wanting to do and some of the new objects will go perfectly with it!

Generations sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun! I like that it is purely about the sims themselves and not objectives and goals. I like these but I was missing more focus on the simmies, new interactions, etc.

For anyone looking to preorder it and who doesn't have Outdoor Life yet, EA appears to be having a promotion at the moment (this has been confirmed to be the case with the US shop, but I'm not sure about their other locations--I'm also not sure if this is just the downloadable/digital version or if this applies to physical copies as well) where if you pre-order Generations through them, you also receive Outdoor Life for free.
Edited to add that it appears to apply to physical copies as well and may apply as well to other countries--not just the US!

It came in the mail yesterday! I had a chance to play a little bit last night. Memories are kind of weird. This baby got one for becoming fat. Anyone else have it?

I have it (just got it yesterday), but I honestly have not really played with it as far as the new features and such yet--I've been engulfed into working on the constructo challenge (and am almost caught up!) so I've mostly become acquainted with the new objects and some patterns we've gotten for this expansion instead.

Jessica, that link on youtube looks great. I "almost" want to play TS3 now! If only I could have Lyran's beautiful sims in TS3...

Those presents from me to myself are always the best Thea. No surprise, but no disappointment there!

I once pushed that concept to its maximum... I was in a bookstore about one month before Christmas and I saw a ballet book (coffee table book with lots and lots of pictures) about a ballet dancer I loved. I bought the book without looking at the pictures inside. When I got home I wrapped it in Christmas wrap paper and put it under my Christmas tree. I was working the evening shift on Christmas Eve, so when I came home at midnight, I opened my gift to myself and discovered my marvelous book. I know... that's a little crazy but it was fun!
