Wow, what a roof! I'm thoroughly scared of the roof-creating tool in game, I have almost never tried to do anything with it and when I tried let's just say the results weren't pretty. (As seen in my TS2 Constructo...) I love that opening in there!

Charlie -- this house is fabulously lush and wonderful! I am such a sucker for Victorian, and your deep reds and browns are perfect. The "over" clutter, the "exotic" elements, just perfect. I love that you did the bath in Arabic style to capitalize on that bit of Victorian history, and that you explained it so well. Your granny cottage in light hues is a nice counterpoint. Can't wait to see what you do with the garden!

Thank you! Since I still haven't sent my hard drive back yet--and it was behaving enough to warrant it--I decided to do the next step. However (and unfortunately), I had to use a trick Kiri suggested for the last step in order to do so (I hope this is all right for this step?)--I made a copy of my house and had to empty out the contents in the copy in order to do the landscaping without risking a crash or forced reboot after just adding one item onto the lot or just moving the cursor on it or just anytime the lot sometimes would just load. Have to "love" playing toward the bare minimum of some system requirements. For similar reasons, I also was not able to really do anything in CAS this time around with any of the objects. Also, since I forgot to include this the last time, here's a screenshot of the storage area on the upper floor (I managed to get it just before my game crashed). Now, onto the landscaping (divided into four areas: fire (which also uses a theme of a metal/forged look to it, representing not just fire but the industrial use of it in the forging process to strike metal and turning ore into it), water (represented by a more classical/"picturesque" (alluding more toward the Romantic Period's concept of it) "look"), air (represented more by an idea of relaxation and taking in the views of the sky and what it has to offer as well as by the "exotic" surroundings), and earth (represented by a more "rustic" look to it--it also contains a hedge maze as well as a garden to grow fresh vegetables and do a bit of gardening). Overview shot, including of the ocean beyond. To the right is a path leading to a private beach and cove (which is also visible from some parts of the house): Views of the different elements: Fire: Water: Air: In transition between Air and Earth (the gate is Earth): Earth:

That is really superb Charliechomper! I love the yard - it's to die for. I'm sorry that you weren't able to get it done in all one - but at least you were able to get it done. And the roof is great too!

Thanks! I would have preferred to have been able to leave the house fully furnished as it was, but my computer was apparently not up for the task.
