Seeing this makes me want to load my Sims 2 game up again. It's a very interesting concept and I'm looking forward to seeing what goes on with your families!

I missed your last batch of families! So great! I can't wait until you get the last 4 finished and everyone starts interacting!

Today I am finally introducing the last 4 families I created with their homes. Now I have played all families 4 weeks each and they are all settled. The worst is done! I find the first generation is hard to build up because you have adults without any achievements. They have to study all the time between getting pregnant and taking care of the kids if they want promotions at work. So that part is done! I started playing them around again, but this time, one season at a time. I find it frustrating when the house I am playing is in winter, but the neighbour's house was saved in summer, so they come at the door in summer clothes!!! But I find that playing them only 5 days is very short. I have to take notes of what I was hoping to achieve when I had to save and leave! But for the time being I am introducing the 4 last families. Let's start with the Mensah family from Comore Islands. This is their home: First floor: and upstairs: I forgot to say that those Sims are not Lyran's. I downloaded them from "Basic ... for Sims" and they are by Hunter.

Next is the Patterson family. They are Canadians. The canadian flag is red, so they really like red... The house outside... First floor: and second floor: I can hear Moon laughing!

Here is the Takahashi family. They are from... Japan of course! Fujiko had twins for me on her second pregnancy! Their house looks a little like the Li's house (chinese) but I was not feeling inspired I guess. First floor, front view and because you didn't see the kitchen or the dining room, here is a back view: a front view of the second floor: and a back view of the second floor to show Miuki's bedroom with the mirrors and the barre. I learned that the Japanese are quite passionate about ballet. The Paris Opera Ballet goes regularly to perform and during the off-season, dancers get organized to go dance in Japan. The money is good and the crowds are wonderful, very knowledgeable and waiting for the dancers at the exit for autographs. So I wanted Miuki to be a balletomane. We shall see if she really becomes a ballerina. Who knows what her desire will be?

Then I made my count and realized I was 2 girls short, which meant that my two guys family would adopt two girls. You will get to know their stories eventually. The house outside First floor: Second floor: Oh! and they got a cat. First pet in my game! I know a few girls here who are going to be happy!

The red and white Canadian home is kind of a funny idea. They all look great, Margot! I'm especially fond of the Takahashi home. The wall coverings and different woods are really pretty...

Thank you for your nice comments. I knew you would like the cat Kiri, Whitney and Thea!!! I have put a puppy in another house, but I know it's going to be a lot more work to train, so I think I'm going to hire a trainer. They all have enough money for it. I haven't really played a lot lately. I am more into knitting and reading these days. But I'm sure I will get back to them eventually. Whitney the wallpaper in the Japanese family house comes from SimFreaks2. I realised I had some "points" left in an account there (I loved all their paperwalls and carpets for Sims1) and now they offered the possibility of converting it in time. So I had like a month to download anything and everything I wanted. So I downloaded almost the whole website! Some of the nursery sets come from that download spree! I also have kept a lot of furniture I absolutely loved from The Well Dressed Sim. Funny, I always liked their furniture much more than the clothing they offered. The website is not there anymore. I regret not paying a couple of months membership and downloading what was there before they closed, but I still have quite a lot. I am waiting either for these Sims to retire or for the next generation, to start using more expensive furniture for adult bedroom and livingroom. And I know, the red canadian house... but if you look at the house from Quebec, everything is white and blue (except for the brick house) the Quebec flag is blue and white... I guess it's kind of a crazy idea, but I will probably change it for the next generation, with the second generation all being in mixed mariages!!!

Thank you CC I am still in a knitting spree! I love knitting when the cold weather starts. It feels so cozy being inside with my feet wrapped in a blanket and looking at old DVDs while my needles dance!

I can hear Moon laughing! LOL!!! This made me literally LOL, because I absolutely had a giggle at the very red house. Love it! I think you play very much like myself - lots of "safe" sims, and I like to make them international and assign them colours.
