This also applies to anyone who is considering using Firefox who has never done so before (or is looking to reinstall it and never had it install previously), I would very strongly recommend grabbing it soon! The reason I mention this is because someone in the Mozilla organization (which oversees and owns the project) has, in yet another controversial move (in the sense that certain things they've done as an organization fail to make any sense or almost go against the nature of the project), decided to add sponsored content (think ads or links to websites owned by companies/groups sponsoring the project) to the opening page that includes the nine-grid pattern (for those unfamiliar with it, in a recent update, Firefox added nine squares in a Tic Tack Toe-type of grid where users could potentially add their favorite websites or most commonly visited ones to save time--under the new scheme, eight of those squares will be already filled with links to sites where someone paid them to include them to get users to visit them and in effect, earn them money). However, this only affects first-time users or those installing it on a "clean" install/have never installed it before--not those who already have it installed or are upgrading! For those who are new users after this takes effect, the paid tiles/squares will eventually be replaced by sites they frequently visit as they will for users who already have had it installed. They do plan on labeling the paid links as such, but regardless it has already led to some grumbling within the community for obvious reasons. For those curious to read about it, you can do so here
