New new new :D I think I'm improving! Using and mixing glaze and acrylic paint this time. This is my favorite. They kinda look like old records but they're really supposed to be licorice swirls. Donuts! More donuts! Strawberry dipped in chocolate. -------------------------------------------------------------- aagh, just wrote a post about these and instead of clicking "post message" I closed the window! Anyway, just wanted to show these!

Maddie, how original! I especially like the last picture and I have someone in mind who might like it... will you be selling on a website?

Maddi, can't you just get the green envelopes the post makes that include shipping? Or if you want smaller ones it might be enough to have a regular envelope and just line it with bubblewrap or wrap the item in bubblewrap before you put it in, same effect as a padded envelope.

Oh yeah, been thinking about the green envelopes, but last time I checked they were so expensive. Would have to charge like 10 usd for the shipping Yeah guess I could use regular envelopes, question is, where do I get bubbewrap? Anyway, I found some light weight bubble envelopes online. If I don't find any this week I will order from that site.

Actually I think the smallest size green envelopes are like...25 SEK or so. Which is like 3.5 USD I think.
Anyways, good luck with it.

Oh but of course that's the domestic fee, I forgot that! You have to add stamps for international use so just using regular smaller envelopes that are padded somehow will probably be cheaper for that anyway.

My store's open! This time around I am going to try and actually get some customers! I'm even setting up a blog to find people to buy stuff. Haha... This is not going to go well Anyway, if you take a look at it I would like some constructive critisism about my photos and such. www.etsy.com/shop/sillychic

Ooooh, looks so good. I really think I'll have to buy something when I get back from class this afternoon. I love brightly colored jewelry... I was looking at the sections on the side and noticed that not everything was sorted (like not all the earrings show up when you click "earrings"). That's really all I have to offer as far as constructive critisism goes.

Oh, you're right about the sorting! I'll go and change it right now, thanks! I am really going to try and not FAIL with this. It's kinda hard to get people to discover your shop. But I WILL make it! YES! I started up a blog about my carftiness. Maybe that will help (probably not!) It's not done yet, but it will probably be more exciting than the shop: sillymadeleine.blogspot.com/Always wanted to have a blog where I can write about inspiration and art and stuff...

Shop's looking good, Maddie! Am actually opening my own soon since I've been in a very crafty mood lately and also realized that I don't have to wait for relatives to take pity on me and buy my stuff Do you have any more of those awesome glasses? Cos long necklaces aren't really my thing (so pretty but I just never wear them) but as a broch or bracelet or whatever I'd totally rock a pair of those!
