How do you play your sims? Do you zoom in all the way to see all their funny expressions and quirks or do you play from afar in order to see everything that's happening and direct them continuously to do different things?
I tend to play from afar, but I have been meaning to try and zoom in a bit more to enjoy my simmies' expressions and maybe take a few funny or cute screenshots.

I tend to mix it up. I usually play far enough to see what happens in a whole room, but I often switch camera angels and get close to their faces. I love watching them

I do a mix of both, it's called multitasking! I play from afar when I direct them and to get an overview of things then I sum in to watch them and I always have a finger on the pause button!

I tend to do most in medium and some in close zoom - not often in far zoom unless I've lost something and then I pause. Or if I'm admiring the whole house Kiri

I am usually zoomed out when I am playing large families so I can see everyone but with one or two I zoom in more often

I play about medium... zoom in enough to see most of a room usually. I cycle through sims often though to see what is happening.

I tend to stay in where I can see close enough what is happening. Mostly overall view, but as close as possible. If I want to concentrate on a single sim, I normally lock them and I just sit back and watch the story unfold, keeping my hands ready to pause and take pics. I usually get a lot of fun that way, because I get to see many expressions and actions sometimes. Felicity

I used to play close to see the expressions, but I've played so much now that I know them all....

I love to get in close and watch their faces and gestures.

I play zoomed out so that I can see whats going on. I zoom in when I want to snap a pic.

It depends on what is going on in my game and the layout of the house if they're in it.
Zooming in close is fun, but I have a few that prefer to watch me versus me watching them, so I keep at a perverbial arms length and let them do their thing.

Sometimes I zoom in a lot just to take pics of the fabulous details in the game - but most of the time I play with a bit of a distance, to get a better view of what's happening around the lot. I also don't like having big objects that keeps me from seeing what my sims and their pets are up to.
