How many simmies will I need to have to fill up a town? I really would like to not have any EA simmies around. So far I have created 20 single young adults, five families with 6 children and one elder couple. I plan to create a couple more elders and about 4 families with teenagers, would that do? Can you believe it, I still haven't started playing, all I do is planning, d/l-ing, building and creating simmies

If you use Twallans Story Progression, you can set your own size of town.

I have also wondered about this myself. I guess the best way to know would be to move your simmies into your world of choice and play for a bit, see whether the streets, pubs, etc, look empty or not. I'm going to start working on creating lots of families soon as well for a similar project... Sandy made a webpage about her Sunset Valley, and she seems to have a working city, but she has more than 100 sims in there: aroundthesims.online.fr/my_sims/Any interesting family ideas you have used that you would be willing to share, Lyran?

I don't know whether anyone else would find my simmies interesting, but to me they are very special. They are all authors and their children are named after their characters. I pair them up in ways that are funny to me. Franz Kafka for instance is married to -- hmmmm, maybe it was Agatha Christie - and they have a son named Josef K. That is funny if you have read Kafka, and if you haven't you really should I'll of course show pics when I have made friends with my new Photoshop.

From what I understood, I thought part of what determined the number was based upon a player's system resources?
