Is it possible just to remove EPs without doing a complete uninstall/ reinstall?
I have Uni and BV installed that I want to remove as I don't use either one of them. I'd rather use the space for Apartment Life as that is the direction my Hood is taking me.

I admittedly haven't tried removing expansion packs before, but I know that Sims2 was designed in such a way that it wasn't supposed to make any difference as to when packs were installed in varying orders or if some packs were "missing" at the time others were installed (I remember one of the devs commenting when BV was released that players without NL would just have empty rooms in lieu of where the restaurants might normally be for instance). However, I don't know how much that might "help" or whether it will make any difference or not if some packs are removed--nor in how it may affect existing games. Sorry if that wasn't of much help.

It's okay. I bought a new PC Thursday and had to re-install everything anyway which meant only installing the EP's I wanted. Thanks for the help though.

Thanks It's nice playing my game now. There are so many things that I've never heard or seen because I had to keep my settings really low on the other one. It is like I'm playing a different game.

It is a great feeling to have the game running smoothly indeed! It is much more enjoyable that way. I really like having lots of sims at lots and parties, seems more fun!
