Has anyone tried the new patch yet? And/or does anyone know whether or not it's resolved the photography bug or not?

I downloaded the patch, which was HUGE, but have not been back to check out the game since installed! Will get back here when I do. Felicity

I installed the patch and now my family is broken!
Mommy went on a trip to France and when it was over the game took me back to a house with a very sad daddy crying because someone he knew died. However, mommy is still in his friends list, but she is a distant friend as she seems to be still in France! When I check the family link for daddy, he only has the child, but when I click on the child he has mommy! Daddy just had a wish to get married!!! So I made him invite a stranger to visit and he invited mommy. She is coming tomorrow morning, so we shall see how that goes and if they can marry again because the relationship is very high.
I'll let you know how it goes, but maybe not in the next few days. My washing machine broke down and I am having some plumbing problems... Taking care this is high priority and the landlady (who does not live on the premises) is fighting a cancer so I have to try to solve the problems by myself.

I've got the patch installed and I've played some since. I'm not having any problems with it, but I seem, for once, to have a remarkably bug-free game. (Comparatively to how TS2's run for me, I haven't got a quarter of the problems.) It hasn't stuffed anything up for me, but I'm not sure if it's solved anything either. (Not sure what if anything needed to be solved.) ~Steph

I have a similar hitch like Margot. I downloaded a new world, Brooklyn Heights, just before the patch. My sim visited China on numerous occasions and had to finish a quest there. This being all BEFORE the patch... After the patch, I went in again to the family and sent her to finish the quest...When she arrived in China she was nowhere to be found. The panel was empty of her pic and everything else. I could not exit the game without saving and quiting. When I returned to the game, their family did not show up again. Just a blank space! : Perhaps I should remove Brooklyn heights and re-install and start over???? Felicity

Gah, I hate patch issues. So far I actually doesn't seem to have them though. I just have plain issues. The patch didn't fix the problem where sims are unable to move out, and my sim's husband was un-selectable from before the patch (just happened, I can't recall installing anything new to trigger it). I hope you guys manage to find a solution to your problems
