I keep seeing lovely worlds online, but at the same time I don't really like to have too many games at once, as it makes my head scramble a little So I wonder, do you play with a lot of worlds? EA worlds or CC ones? Which ones do you play? And do you have a lot of different games, or do you prefer to play with one family? Or more families in the same world/game, switching between the households? Currently I have 5 different games; - The Nobles in Sunset Valley. - The Montaque family ("Smith and Jones" as they are known in the Hoods thread) in Twinbrooks. - SimThea and her cat in Appaloosa Plains. - Galaad Island, where I play mulitple families (SimThea lives there too actually, but I've hardly played her). - Winchester Farming Community, a tiny world I plan to populate with my own sims, but play just one family, maybe popping by the others occationally. - Hidden Springs, where I've just mucked about with some of the pre-mades and made over some lots. I'm considering to move a copy of Angela Montaque and her husband in there, or in a city I've downloaded (which I think is named Brooklyn Heights). Not that I really have time for simming, as I have to write an assignment next week (today was spent procrastinating by making cookies), and then we film our movie the week after that (and since I'm the editor after shooting I have a ton of work).

I had missed this thread! I love looking at new worlds, some of them are just gorgeous and well-thought. Currently I am playing Plum Grove, a world from My Sims Realty (http://www.mysimrealty.com/). It looks beautiful and I really like it, I have moved most of my sims there. I also have a Legacy family in Los Aniegos (http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/295247.page), Ethan and Zoe from my signature, actually. They have two children. The world is gorgeous but lags quite a bit. I might have to move them to Appaloosa Plains. I have also played most of the EA worlds (Sunset Valley, Riverview not so much, Twinbrooks, Bridgeport), and some CC ones, mostly Autumn Falls. I created a bunch of sims for Coconut Island but never got around to playing it, most of those sims are now in Plum Grove. Regarding pretty worlds, Queenstown by Awesims has been recently updated for Pets and looks awesome. Long story short, I love downloading worlds and checking them in-game but have never played long with most of them.

My current fav world is Hidden Springs. I want to populate it with a bunch of former invisible friends. To that end I have downloaded a family from a member of N99 that had a glitch were the mother had 10 infants, one after the other. After the babies were born there were 17 sims in the family, 6 adults, one child, and 10 infants. She didn't export them until they were toddlers but toddlers are no problem in Sims 3, any adult will feed, change and put the toddler in the crib. All of the toddlers had an invisible friend doll when I first placed them. I placed them in a world called Anne Arbor, but I am only playing them there so I can grow them up and move them to Hidden Springs. I am changing the facial features of the 10 as I age them up and I am renaming them all. I uploaded one family to the exchange, the Kelly family. There is a mother and three daughters and three former invisible friends. I left their hair purple or green so I would know them apart from the other sims. I have also played Twinbrook, Bridgeport, Riverview and Sunset Valley for long periods. I tried Los Aniegos but it was too laggy for me. I love how he has the poor sections and the separate areas, a great set up for a world. Wish I could play it.

Anju Falls by SimRealty is one I'm still setting up to have an Australian feel. Strangetown is one I'm also setting up.
Apart from that I've really only played the EA ones because I tend to get lost in the setting up phase.

I have to admit that I've never really played any outside of the ones EA created.

Well, I used to have a couple of worlds from Sim Realty, but after having hard drive crashing/ re-installing from scratch, I have just been playing the EA ones. Have had an urge to download new ones, as there are some lovely ones created, but have not done so as yet! The EA ones keep me busy enough! Felicity

Felicity, I think that's amongst the reasons as to why I haven't really played non-EA worlds (nor downloaded any custom ones)--there are so many that we have in just the game or by EA that I haven't really done much with yet nor have fully explored.
