Hello everyone! First of all, sorry for not having made a picture thread these past months (forgive me, Kiri! )! But here I am again! Lately I have been trying to put more effort into decorating my sims' homes according to their tastes and as I wanted to share some pics I thought this would be a good theme for this month. What are some of your favourite rooms that you have decorated? Who are the sims who live there? I'm going to share a couple of living rooms. The first belongs to my stylist, who has lived on her own for a long time. Her good-for-nothing brother has just recently sent his rebellious son her way though, so now that she lives with her problematic nephew her life is not so quiet anymore... He's quite the prankster! (Sorry for the bad pics) The second living room belongs to a married couple, Mildred and Hank. Mildred has a weak body and has always been sickly and frail, so Hank, who loves her with all his heart, tries his best to make her happy; that should explain the shabbychic-ness of their house even though he's a cars and sports type of guy. They have three daughters and a cat now though so it looks like Mildred can be pretty strong when needed! I have since changed the TV (poor Hank deserved a big-screen TV for his videogames and sport games after all he does for his wife!) but you get the idea. I am pretty happy about how their house turned out. Let's see yours!

Thank you, Thea! Oh, the house looks great! I really like the hints of pink, especially in the first bathroom. I also love the pattern on the chairs and the walls in the living room (and the Be Calm poster! ). The bathroom also has something special about it that feels very calm! All rooms look great, really.

Lovely rooms! Jess, I love that white, green, and pink color combination. Thea, I especially like that bedroom and the bathroom. The colors and patterns you used look really pretty. I'm going to share some pictures of one of my favorite houses. It belongs to two men, so I wanted it to to be kind of dark and masculine. This is kind of the entrance hall. Eventually, I got rid of a lot of the furniture and put in a grand piano. The living room. It caught on fire a few times I'm afraid. They aren't very good about keeping an eye on the fireplace. The kitchen. I recently had to move them to a new house because of glitches and a need for more space for new family members (the fluffy kind of family members ). I liked the rooms so much that I did my best to recreate them. But we'll see how long it stays nice with a destructive cat around...

Whitney, I really like those rooms! They do indeed seem masculine, very fitting for two men! And that cat!

I know it's not November anymore, but...actually no buts Here are some rooms I recently made over from a house in Galaad Island Kitchen, which is a bit hard to photograph because of the fencewallthingy. Cat wall. Place to relax. Sleeping part of the bedroom. Working part of the bedroom (and the house is built with a split level staircaise, which is why the walls won't come up on that side) And as a bonus, this is the sim living here. Lydia Elm, a neurotic hopeless romantic who loves cats and yearns to start her own family. Her cat Moffat. If I had a view like this, I'd never get any work done.

No need for it to be November! I love the fencewallthingy! Very creative, I need to start doing things like that in the rooms in my game. Love the wallpaper on that second picture! The whole house looks lovely and like out of a fairytale. Very fun sim, too! And the cat is adorable.

Jessica, I like your use of florals and colors in that space.
Whitney, that house feels so cozy and inviting--I love it!
Thea, I really like the whimsical feeling of those rooms!
I realize it's no longer November, but I hope to maybe have something to post to this thread once I get a chance to play again (which may have to wait until after I can get the new computer up and running).
