Hello everyone! I am playing a rock star (that's what she should be, anyway... not quite there yet. ) and would like to decorate her home, but I am stumped and feel overwhelmed each time I open the game to do so, so I was hoping you could give me some pointers. Her style is somewhat punk-ish, with purple streaks on her hair, and her favourite colour is violet. I will upload a picture of her later so you can get a better idea of what she is like. I was thinking of modern style, with white, purple and maybe black everywhere, but I am not very good at that particular style... What should I do about the walls/floors and deco? I know for sure that I am going to use Sandy's items (http://www.aroundthesims3.com/objects/room_other_04.shtml) to make an studio for her, and I also would like to make a party room, as she is a Party Animal. Any ideas, tips, CC advice, inspirational pictures? Thank you in advance! :)

There is the Loud, Fast Clash set at the Sims 3 store. In it is an end table called Rock the End Table and a dresser called Off the Road Case that would work The end table is on page 5 of Home Decor/Surfaces. The dresser is on page 2 of Home Decor/Storage. On that page is a bookshelf, called Hit the Bookshelf, that looks like drums, which might work also.

Thank you, CC! That could work very well. I have to try and see! I didn't get to uploading a pic of my sim. I will do it today if I can remember. EDITED: Here is the sim in question, Lena Howard:

I can't remember what it's called now, but if you're still looking for items, some of the stuff that's in the punk set may work (not sure if that's the same set CC is referring to?).
Also, I don't know whether they actually fixed this glitch or not at the shop, but if they haven't, it's possible to get some of the "branded" merchandise (the various musical artists on t-shirts, posters, etc.) via the shop if you search for it individually as opposed to getting it through the sets (the individual items, if this still works, would mention that they're free--if you get them through sets, you have to pay for them). Some of the posters there may also work for this sim as well if you want to include some real world artists.
