I'm so excited for swimming at the beach! The little umbrellas and snow stuff are super cute too. Oh man, I'm so excited

Oh no! I hope you can make it work somehow. I'm resisting the urge to buy any more EPs until I have a new computer. I'm not sure Penny can handle much more.

I haven't looked at Sims3 Seasons... I haven't even installed Superstar I think I've just lost interest.

Wow! I am starting to find this weird A lot of us are using the words "loosing interest" in TS3. Anyone have an explanation about that? I think for me it's about having different families with all different stories in TS2. I get tired of playing with only one family in TS3.

I think for me Sylphide, it was more that many of my Sims have migrated from Sims1 to Sims2, but never made it to Sims3 (Pixella is one major example). Their stories are still to be finished in Sims2. Sims3 is interesting and all, but I'm not ready to start a new story in Sims3 when the Sims2 story isn't finished.

For me it was sort of the opposite In TS2, although I loved it, I kept getting stressed with the fact that I had to split my playing time equally between families so that siblings would stay the same age ect. Which is why I had a strict 1-child-only policy in my game Also after a while most of the excitement for me was the moment when a sim grew from one age to another so I could see what they looked like, while the time in between was a bit like a chore. I honestly don't know why, it just was In TS3 I enjoy spending time with each individual sim more (of course there are always some I enjoy more than others and this varies), for some reason I love elders for example more in TS3 than TS2. TS3 fits my playing style more, as I tend to want to follow one family more than keeping tabs of several. And with mods I can have a more TS2-style of playing in some saves if I wish. That's what's lovely about TS2/TS3, they cater to different needs

I can't believe that I still have this laptop running so beautifully either. I was worried he wouldn't make it through all four years of school with me, and he has done that and more. He just needs to hang in there a few more months, and I'll be able to get a desktop to take some of the load off of his shoulders. And then I can buy more EPs. Thea said pretty much exactly how I feel. TS3 just feels like less work than TS2 when it comes to my playing style.

Penny's a he? I always thought it was a she One day I will save up money for a desktop purely for sims (and other games, if I get into any), with lovely graphics On another note I haven't gotten Showtime either, but that was mostly because it didn't interest me enough

I know, it seems like it would be a girl. I named him Penny because of the copper color of the top, and I think I had recently read The Yearling which had a man nicknamed Penny. The idea of having Showtime is starting to grow on me, but Supernatural and Seasons are higher up on my list of purchases to make right now.
