Back in the day there was a really great page (I think it was a blog or live journal?) that compiled loads of maxis match links. Does anyone know if it is still around?
Any other good maxis match websites/forums/etc? The only thing I really remember links wise is MTS and MATY. It has been too long!

I had my list of favorites here which had quite a few Maxis match things. I think I may have followed this LJ comm at some point, so maybe you'll find something there. Good luck!

GoS had a theme that was maxis-match. So did N99. Leefish has many Maxis-match. Those are the ones I can think of, off the top of my head. Also Sims2Artists - sims2artists.com/index.phpIt also depends what you are calling maxis-match?

I guess that's true... mostly stuff that isn't super realistic, and recolours/reworks of maxis stuff. Thanks for the links! I've started downloading stuff last night.

Those are great Jenni-Rose!
For me - Maxis-Match are meshes that match the existing objects in the game. The recolours are just more of the same.

Thanks for all the links, everyone. Like Kiri and Moon, I play a MM game -- I like the look. Not on my PC at the moment, but I'll take a look at what I have for MM and see if I can add some here.

I like anything that looks like the same quality as the meshes and and textures in the original game. Sure, EA's sense of style may not have been top notch but for the most part what they made looked good on high graphics settings. Anything that is made with similar meshes is great, and I love when I find a set that has done recolours to tie a number of objects together. To this day still drives me nuts the number of things in the game that look good on their own but really have *nothing* to go with

Thank you for these links. I am trying to add some custom content to my Sims2 and I have forgotten most of the great sites that were out there. Was wondering if there is still a link to download the camera changes? For the life of me I cannot remember who/where it was but I recall it made a huge difference to the in-game camera.......
