I did a remix on the Just Right EA house which is pretty wrong. For this, I followed Polly Mogs Tutorial "Just Right? All Wrong!" I'm pleased with myself - I learnt how to make a basement, got a decent house for sale for SVW and did it with very little CC, and still looks reasonable. The Exterior - SVW is a rural beach town, so the look I'm going for is relaxed, contemporary and beachy without being beach thematic. The Layout - it's pretty simple. The stairs lead to a usable basement :) The Basement, with Fireplace, and extra bathroom. It's not furnished because I'm actually going to leave this one unfurnished for whoever buys it. I wanted a pool with round corners, but it turns out it's hard to place a diving board on round corners. It's all EA (well the IKEA stuff pack mostly)! There's going to be a For Sale sign out in the front yard soon (as soon as I work out where one is, and make the appropriate 'Mashuga Realty' For Sale recolour!

It looks wonderful Kiri. I love it.
A "For Sale" sign? what a great idea.
I remember for Sims 1 there were door numbers you could put on the house front exterior wall to give it an address. I never found any for TS2. I miss those.

Nice job on that house, Kiri! I also really like that basement! Slyphide, one of the stuff packs or expansion packs for Sims2 I seem to remember as having little signs with numbers on them to indicate house numbers (they were placed on the ground). Unfortunately, I can't remember now which pack they were in, but I use them quite often when I'm building something in Sims2.

There are quite a few sign numbers - let me link you some! And also if you have a specific style let me know and I'll make them for you if can't find what you want. Shiny House Numbers you can stick on the building: MTS: iCad House NumbersHouse Numbers MTS: Sup@tramp HousenumbersI've actually stripped the furnishing except the bathroom and kitchen (although I've taken the washer, trash compactor and fridge out of the kitchen as well) to get it ready for sale. Making the signs today! And Yes! I need to remember to put the house numbers on the house too!

Your wish is my command my lady! I had saved when they were asleep so it's dark, but it looks good. However I would like to put the numbers in a diagonal (I have Apartment Life) but even with this bracket: [ and that one: ] pressed down it doesn't work. I must be doing something wrong... So this is 105 Square of the Newcomers. The Svensson's house. and this is 100 Square of the Newcomers, the Haley's house. but I am happy with my Sims having an adress so I will live with it!

They look great and it's so nice to have numbers on the houses, isn't it! To get the movement up and down the wall happening, you need to first place the wall hanging, then keeping it selected press the [ or ] movement up or down that you want. Also if you have Mansions & Gardens, to have the numbers less spread out - there's a quartile tile placement cheat that will let you scoot things closer.
