I just came across this article today and given Countess Crazy's current situation, found it almost ironic in some respects and felt it might be of some interest to some of you out there. As Win7 is still in beta, please take this with the proverbial grain of salt as things may change between now and whenever it finally gets released (the current projected date is around late summer of this year). More specifically, it delves into some current issues and even problems that exist in attempting to upgrade to Windows 7 (as it exists now) and incompatibilities in hardware as well as drivers (the driver situation, admittedly, isn't too big of a shock given its status) and some comparisons being made between it and Vista as far as some issues go.

I hope to post some new articles involving Win7 sometime soon and when I can get the time for it (and depending upon whether or not my connection behaves itself).

I find it pretty ironic as well that in Microsoft are saying that Windows 7 is going to be really game-compatible yet Countess wasn't able to make TS2 work.

When I installed Sims 2 with Windows 7 I got a pop up saying there were known compatibility issues with Sims 2 and they would let me know when that was fixed. I couldn't wait for them so I have XP.
