Well, this was interesting. I don't know if you saw my post in the "Challenge I is up" thread, but yeah.
First of all, here's the new nursery. Danyell misses her sewing room, buy hey, sacrifices must be made.

The pregnancy was quite easy. Danyell was really good about getting in her three meals a day and Thomas was good about letting her rest.

Sometimes I think the no-Woo-Hoo rule got to him though. He spent an entire day naked at one point.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/04.jpg[/IMG]
Baby time!
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/05.jpg[/IMG]
It's a girl and they named her Leia-Serena. Er. Hopefully I did that right.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/06.jpg[/IMG]
Anyway, not only did Leia-Serena join the family, a puppy named Gyspy was added as well. And oh my goodness, she was brought by the coolest NPC ever.

So things were going really well. It was time for Liea-Serena to grow into a toddler and Thomas and Danyell were gathered in the baby's room for the birthday. That's when Death materialized in the crib. I was so busy taking care of babies and puppies and the like, that I completely forgot that Thomas could possibly be running to the end of his days!

This did not do good things for Danyell. Baby forgotten on the floor, she collapsed.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/10.jpg[/IMG]
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/11.jpg[/IMG]
She got through it and finally got her daughter into toddlerhood.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/12.jpg[/IMG]
The first day was rough. Leia-Serena was pretty smart and did pretty well keeping herself entertained with the rabbit thingy, but aspirational-wise, Danyell was not in good shape to take care of her.

The worst part was that as a Fortune Sim, all she wanted was to buy stuff and to make money. Things that weren't really possible because of the rules of the challenge and having a baby to take care of.
In an attempt to make things a bit easier, I thought it was time, to get a new man into Danyell's life. Or maybe not so new. Ranger was date that took it the hardest when she chose Thomas for a partner. Danyell never really fell out of love with him, and they had rebuilt their friendship rather easily despite Ranger's initial anger.
It was easy to get him to fall in love with her again after she explained the circumstances of her relationship with Thomas ("Whitney made me do it!") and then they were married.

I know getting married the day after your last husband dies is a bit shady, but she needed help with the baby as soon as possible!
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he worked as a super hero.

Being better off aspirationally then Danyell, I had Ranger change the season to fall to make skill-building easier for Leia-Serena.

Gyspy successfully made it to adult-hood.

Have some cute.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/22.jpg[/IMG]
Anyway, the three days finished up too soon. The party was very last minute because of me trying to fit in some last minute skill building, but Leia-Serena still got to the cake in time.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/23.jpg[/IMG]
Much cuteness.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/24.jpg[/IMG]
And then everybody danced. Including the only toddler present (the only other toddler in the neighborhood actually).

The party was a good time and it didn't end until late into the night when the cops came.
i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/SimFishie/Lucky/Part I/27.jpg[/IMG]
So how'd I do in raising Thomas and Danyell's daughter? Well, I got her walking, talking, and potty trained. I was pretty darn close to a 100/100 relationship with Danyell and doing pretty well with Ranger considering she had known him for two or three days. I didn't quite max out a skill either, but 8 charisma points isn't too bad.
