Hi,
So, just as I'm transfering files onto my Netbook (an Acer Aspire One 150 I think) in preparation for my trip I notice a very odd thing my Netbook is doing. It turns itself off every time the electrical cord is dissconnected. Doesn't matter if the battery is full or empty, or if it's the part the goes in the wall or the part that goes in the computer that's removed, everything just goes black. Fun times... Since i'm going abroad for 3 weeks I can't fix it right now either. Anyone know what could be up?

If it isn't going into "sleep" mode and it is completely turning itself off when it does that, in all honesty, my advice would be to contact Acer's technical support about it to see what may be going on with it. There are a number of possibilities that may cause something like this, but in the event that it's hardware-related, Acer would be the only ones who could repair it if necessary.

I thought that'd be what you said, heh. Yes, it's completely off, not sleep mode. I do have a warranty still so I'll either bring it by the company I bought it from or submit an online ticket once I get back from Canada. Thanks!
