Microsoft has officially just released Service Pack2--however, it has not officially been added to the updates cycle yet--but expect to see it within the coming months. For those who have not installed Service Pack1 for Vista, you can expect to see it installed prior to the installation of SP2. Amongst the things that were addressed with it which may be of interest to those of you here are "Bluetooth" wireless support, better performance of wireless connections following a system coming out of sleep mode (not to be confused with the idea that putting your system in sleep mode and then coming out of it will improve performance prior to it going into sleep mode), the ability to record onto Blu-Ray media (if the user has an application and special device for it, of course), and the removal of a limit in terms of how many connections can be open at once (prior to SP2, it had been listed as around 10 before problems began or Vista wouldn't permit it). There was also an inclusion of additional DRM to this update as well. It does appear, at least, that they have addressed some of the problems that were being reported back in January with it (which also apparently had led to some additional testing prior to the release of the final beta candidates).
