Yes, I'm back with my constant website problems. Right now I can't access my website, or at least not my two forums bjd.thesilliness.com/dollhouse and multipolis.thesilliness.com Obviously I've no idea why. I just get a "page couldn't be found" message. The wierdest part is that when I go to the root of the second forum I get a list/index of files and folder that don't exist on my server! Meanwhile, the internet can't find the files that do exist! Does anyone have any idea what could cause this odd problem?

I have no idea, Emma, sorry. Just wanted to report that I can access your BJD forum, but not the other one. I hope you find a solution.

Yeah, a bunch of people said that. After many ifs and buts, I can access it too but the other one is still down. It makes no sense, hah! I'm starting to hope it'll just go away by itself Thanks!

The problem has developed into a very persistant 500 internal server error....anyone know how to fix those?

Have you tried contacting your host to see if it may be something on their end? Also, do you have access to the logs?
I was able to get into the first forum you listed (Dollhouse), however not the second.
In taking a look at your domain, I did notice that starting the 8th of this month, your host appears to have relocated your domain to a different server from where it was before (there was a previous move, which appears to have taken place on July 24 of this year)--which would also explain the redirect notice I had that pointed me to a different server location and IP for the first forum.
It could be that they are either relocating your site to said server and just have not moved everything over just yet or they could be undergoing maintenance of some sort (including possible upgrades) and/or the move may be just temporary until they complete it or there may be something else going on entirely.
If this continue to be a problem, however, I would check with them to see what may be going on.
On that note, what type of files are appearing in the index? As that may be another issue.
Since it appears you posted as I was typing up my response, the 500 error you're seeing (which is what I got as well) is just a generic, all purpose server error. It usually gets generated if there may not be a more appropriate or more apt/specific error message or problem to describe the situation with the server--it's not something you can fix yourself as it's on the server side.

Yeah, some people at another site told me that too...I'll just have to wait until their online support is back up (they're in Australia so it's night there) and then ask them about it. I find it utterly odd that it only effects my forum though, plus it was fine this morning when I checked...Very wierd. I also tried copying that forum (Multipolis) to a different folder/subdomain and got the exact same error. I really hope they can help me fix it.
Thanks anyway though, CharlieChomper!

You're welcome. Also, in terms of discrepancies between that forum and the rest of the site, moving things from one server to another is usually not a quick task so it could be that the rest of the site was relocated prior to the second forum. Likewise, when something is moved from one server to another and resides on a different IP (even if it's the same domain/location), it isn't a simple task of moving something and then having it work automatically--a redirect may have to be established to get everything working properly again (it gets a bit more complicated into this as well, going beyond just the redirect...).
