Okay, this is really, really, really nerve wracking. I don't share my drawings often and I have not had a good couple of days on my confidence. In fact, right now, I'm ranking about a -50 on a scale of 1-10. But... I would kind of like maybe a fresh set of eyes on this. This is actually a redraw of the last drawing I did with my mouse before I got my tablet. It's got some issues, Like the guy on the left (your left) his right (again your left.) shoulder has been driving me nuts. because his body is slightly turned, and so it looks too wide if I go by my normal measurements. But I don't want it to be too narrow either. I don't know. I've been working on it for so long I don't know if it's good, bad, or green. Kinda sad that I probably have five/six/seven hours into it, and this is all I've got to show for it. ~Steph

Steph, I think it is beautiful. It feels soft and poetic.
I agree with you about the shoulder, but I have absolutely no advice to give as I can't hold a pencil to draw, even if my life depended on it.
I like it very much.

If I understand you right I think you need to create some depth in the picture to make it look right. I would maybe take out the two lines on the upper arm and make it fuller, like maybe a fuller bicep?
I have NO IDEA what I'm talking about!
The hair is just gorgeous, and I don't see anything wrong with their eyes? Faces are perfect!

Thanks, Margot & Maddie! If I understand you right I think you need to create some depth in the picture to make it look right. I would maybe take out the two lines on the upper arm and make it fuller, like maybe a fuller bicep? That's something to try, I've been fussing so much with the actual shoulder line that I haven't done a lot with the arm that's attached to it. Maybe it's not the shoulder that's driving me nuts, maybe it's just the arm. My mom told me that if it's driving me that nuts, I should just crop the picture down so the arm is off the page like on the other guy. It might work, but that's kinda lazy. (The other guy doesn't have a second arm cause I ran out of canvas and didn't feel like making it bigger, which is kinda lazy too.) and I don't see anything wrong with their eyes? I don't think there's much wrong with their eyes either. The problem is actually with mine. I've been looking at the picture so long that I'm not sure if there are actual problems or if I just think there are problems, y'know? ~Steph

Oooh, this is beautiful. I love their faces. The one on the left is especially well done. I've always struggled with arms and shoulders as well, so I'm afraid I can't give much advice though.
