... I had a bit of a problem with this one. My other rooms were a little 'off-balance' to make a complete success of both sides of the entrance... I ended up with this. BUT, the archway from my entrance hall is going to close up the front wall formation. Kiri, must I perhaps redo some of the rooms or perhaps move doors/arches around? I can redo some of the rooms so that it can work! My floor pattern..... And then the family members each at their own workspace/entertainment... Calliope, who wants to be a Journalist, loves the modern clean look has her favourite corner.... Hubby, Bridge, wants to excel in athletics, so he has his exercise bicycle...and also a TV to keep him company... and as he is an oudoorish kinda guy, and sloppy, he doesnt really care what his corner looks like !! The two children, both love Gothic look, and Guilluame, who is a pleasure sim, and wants plenty girlfriends, has a PC for chatting and a stereo to keep him company while he does his chatting online... AKeisha, looking at her interests, loves entertainment so she too has a PC to keep her happy. Both brother and sister share an area for relaxing and reading from the bookcase too! Felicity

Sorry Felicity. I didn't think about this sort of scenario. This is going to require you to think a little ahead. You know where your arch is at the moment? That's where the living area is going to be. It's going to be fairly large. To do the symmetry thing - you need to guess where your outer wall for your living area is going to be, and then have your workspace area match that. I think you're going to need to move the arch back one, and then move the work space area up one so that you can match it to the living area. This is like a jigsaw puzzle. Huh?! What you've done is absolutely beautiful though - it really works so well for your family.

Great work as usual, Felicity. I like how their work areas all reflect their personal styles without looking like they belong in different rooms.

Thanks Kiri and Emma! I am really having a lot of fun with this challenge! Kiri, thanks for those suggestions. Am going to go back and exercise my brain a bit to make it work. Thats all part of the fun for me! But first I just want to do Step 4 with my Sims3 sibling girls! Felicity
