Hey guys! So I've started a Legacy family in Sims 3, but I think it's really hard to succeed!! I find myself micromanaging (a.k.a. slavedriving!) my sims to gain skillpoints or achiece a new level in their career, and by now my household has grown so big, that I spend more time in Pause than actually playing! Have anyone here tried to do this challenge in Sims3? Do you have any tips or pointers? Or should I just give up and start the Constructo Challenge instead?

I haven't yet tried a legacy (neither in S2 or S3), so I have no advice I'm afraid. Therefore I'll echo Kiri, and say go Constructo!

Playing big families is indeed more difficult in TS3, it seems so to me as well. I think you should try to let go a bit and let your sims do their own thing, even if you feel like they are wasting time by not training their skills, etc. They might do something fun anyway! Focus on a family member each time and try to make them start doing something that will take them a while, then go to the next. You can always send a couple of your favourites or simply the sim you want to work on their skills on vacation, and that time you have a few days controlling only less sims with no work. Of course you could always take a break and do Constructo.

I've admittedly never done this challenge either, but have to agree with Jessica about larger families or just numbers of sims in a household in Sims3.

Thanks for your input, ladies. I'm very tempted to have a go at that Constructo Challenge, I must admit...
