OK, I am in the finishing steps of putting up my new neighborhood. The last family is a couple of gay men and I want them to adopt. Since I am playing a clean game, it won't provide me with orphans. So I have to create them. I put up a small family 1 man, 1 woman and 1 toddler in a house. I put a pool and drowned them. Then the toddler got picked up by social services. Now, I built a cemetery in my neighborhood, so I wouldn't have ghosts in all my houses when the elderly start dying. So I would like to put the stones of that couple in the cemetery, so the orphan will be able to visit her parents in the cemetery. But how can I do it? I made another Sim and had her buy the house. I put the 2 tombstones into her bag? and had her call a cab to go to the cemetery. But when I got there, I did not have access to the content of her bag. So I could not leave the tombstones into the cemetery. I know I did it when I was doing the Rainbow Challenge. My Sim lived in an apartment and found a tenant to share but she died. She came back as a ghost and was upset that someone was sleeping in her bed! So I had a Sim take the tombstone from the apartment lot and take it to the cemetery. I don't know what was different then but it worked that time. Anyone has an idea as to how I can make this work?

It's been such a long time since I've played TS2, but I vaguely remember something like this... is it possible to click on the grave (when it's at the home lot) and have an option to send away or something? And it'll be sent to the cemetary? Or am I remembering wrong? I just have this image of a ghost standing next to her grave and waving (Sound like an interesting back story btw! Looking forward to pictures )

Thea, you are a genius!!! It worked. Thank you so much. I didn't even try clicking on the tombstone. I didn't want that sim to interact with it, and I had absolutely no memory of doing it before (I must have though). Thank you so much, you are the best!

If there is one thing I would "ban" from the aging process is the progressive loss of memory... I really hate it.
