Oh, that is just so cute! It'll go great in the suburban parts of my hood, or in my furry hood if I start playing it again. I love how different styles the different flats have. how do I rent them without the furniture dissappearing though?

Emma, you can go to sims2workshop.com and get an Apartment Door Hack from Carrigon. I think someone here has already mentioned it in another thread.  I personally havent tried it as yet. You don't need the hack to rent the apartments furnished. Just enter boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and have your sim stand near the apartment door. Then shift click the door and select "rent furnished"
I too love the very different styles of each place.
