While waiting for part J to be announced I made a whole new house using the constructo challenge rules. I figured that knowing what we know now, what comes next, it would make it so much easier to make a nicely shaped house. Also, since I had a very colorful theme going on the last one I went for a much more neutral house this time. I also had this brainstorm of using Kiri's sim for this one I named her Lucinda Lucki Without further ado here she is!
Since I did all this in one sitting she stood there and watched the house go up with the binoculars.
I chose to use expensive doors this time so money for other things was very limited. Here is the entrance hall.
Here you can see the halls and the living room. I choose to make the living room smaller than before to get a better shape to the house. It also costs a lot less that way and I had money left over for other rooms.
Here is the kitchen and outdoor room. I made the outdoor room one square smaller than we could have to keep the shape and save money.
Again, with the dining and living room I made it smaller to keep a good shape.
The conservatory complete with a flower arranging bench
And again with the walls up so you can see through the windows.
We then go outside, here is the house from the street.
From the side with Lucinda swimming, her second autonomous act.
The back of the house.
And finally the other side.
I don't have a pic of the upstairs undecorated but here is Lucinda's bedroom. It has a overlook to the conservatory with bars since there will be kids living here.
From another angle.
The bathroom, there is a toilet behind that half wall.
And the kids bedroom.
Here is an overview of the whole first floor.
and the overview with the second floor.
I didn't write down how much was left after each room until there was a substantial amount, which didn't happen until I did the aspiration room. After the aspiration room I had 1989 left. After the outdoor room I had 2676 left. After I did the living/dining room I had 1960 left. After I did the conservatory I had 2030 left. After I did the upstairs I had 3454 left. I spent all but about 160 on the outside, it sure was nice to have that extra 3454 to spend on the yard There is only less than 200 left after construction.
