I installed TS2 and all my expansions on my new computer today! Still have to transfer in my n-hoods from my external hard drive though. Not sure if I'm gonna continue Constructo, I'm gonna be super busy for the next few weeks inbetween school and NaNoWriMo, so we'll see.

Gonna take a homework-free day tomorrow and, amongst other things, play TS2 for the first time in ages ^^

Sqwee! I am so in love with my new graphics card and having more RAM. My game looks and plays AWESOME! I know resized and Jpg'd up the picture is not the greatest, but believe me, it is much much clearer. (Look at the fence and the terrain paint.) And it runs sooo much faster. No lags on the game no matter what's going on. Even when it was raining and three pregnant women, their husbands, and two wolves were visiting my lot! I do not know who decided it was party at the Suffolk house, but somebody did. If that would have happened before, my game would have CRAWLED. I mean I don't have to choose performance vs good graphics anymore, that is pretty cool. I think tomorrow, maybe I'll try installing TS3, I'm kinda playing something in TS2, but curious as to what TS3 will look like. ~Steph

That's great, Steph! Have fun! ^^
I'm doing some dl-ing at the moment. Might fire up my game for a bit soon before I head down to my folks' to go to the cinema. ^^

Did a mini-update in my blog, partially just to summarize my own thoughts about my hoods! Clicky!

Well... I'm in Canada, far away from Dhakii (my new computer) and my TS2 games, and of course I can't think of anything I'd rather spend an afternoon with than playing TS2. *rolls eyes at self*

I found some lovely skintones to use in my Sci-fi hood, which really got my TS2 juices flowing. So I've been geneticizing skintones and also changing the genetics for all my hair in that hood (I want black to be dominant over brown, in my regular hoods they've the same value). Plus, yesterday I found the Ikea Stuff Pack on sale so I bought it ^^

I've been working on my hoods a fair lot lately! =) Also, I've made my first TS2 mod which got approved at MTS and can be found here. So, yay!

That is awesome, Emma! I hope you share some pics. I have been thinking about reinstalling TS2, but laziness dissuades me... I remember that it was fairly easy to corrupt things and I do not have the time, ideas or energy to create enough families to poblate an entire custom hood.
