I hope I will too... eventually, lol!
True enough. But hey, nothing says you have to play them both if you're enjoying one. I don't even have TS3 installed on my new computer.

I haven't played TS3 in EONS and still have absolutely no desire to at all. There is no draw for me whatsoever. But I've been playing TS2 a bit more than usual and really enjoying it right now.

I've started playing The Sims 2 again. I actually cannot play The Sims 3 on my computer. While it's fairly decent, it cannot run TS3 for more than 20 minutes without becoming too laggy. So when I visit my boyfriend, he lets me play on his computer. Considering the fact that we're in an LDR and he lives 3000 miles away ... I don't play TS3 that much. Anyway, so yes. I'm playing TS2 again. And for once, I'm not just making random characters and playing them. I'm actually playing with the pre-made families. And ... I'm having fun with them. Which is amazing since I used to really dislike them. But this time I decided to actually go ahead and do it. And I've discovered a couple things. 01) I really hate Dustin Broke. I don't even know why. I just do. 02) Ditto Angela Pleasant. 03) However, I absolutely adore Lilith Pleasant. 04) And Cassandra Goth. The Goths were my favorite family in TS1 (like most people right?) So I decided that this time around, I'd start with Cassandra. First things first. Those hideous pigtails, had to go. So I gave Cassandra a tiiiiiiny makeover. And you know what? She's actually quite gorgeous! I also decided that Don is a douchebag and doesn't deserve Cassandra. And Darren ... well he's nice enough and all. But kind of boring for Cassandra. So, I moved her out of Goth Manor and into that tiny hidden cabin way out in the middle of nowhere. Cassie's doing just fine now! She quit her job, discovered she had a knack for gardening, and discovered the joys of magic. I'll have to post pics of her fairly awesome house. It's no longer a little shack. She's living in style! Lots of books, magic, gothy/antiquated type furniture and lots of art. Here's a picture of the updated Cassandra Goth: She was on a date, there. Actually, she ended up marrying the guy. And they are very much in love. Cassie is happy and constantly humming and they are always smooching. So who's the lucky man in Cassie's life? None other than Benjamin Long, who (once you get past the nose) is actually quite a nice looking guy. Especially once you get those stupid shorts off him. He's a CEO so he can help keep Cassie in the life she was brought up in. And these two lovely little lovebirds, just had a bundle of joy delivered to them. Dahlia turned this cute little couple, into a threesome. Once I play again, I'll post pics of the happy family.

Cassandra looks great. I love that you've matched her up with Benjamin Long too. So cute. Now I want to see the baby!

I made an unusual find today. But who knows? Maybe one of you will have a reason to download them.

Whitney! How in the world did you find this??? I don't really like the hanging ones, but I love the one in the pond with the fountain effect! By the way I guess I never said here that my 2 favorite animals are the elephant on earth and the great whale in the sea... probably because of the gentle giant symbol. The elephant is the biggest animal on earth but is a vegetarian and the whale eats "crill" (that's the French word for it) and I love that idea.

So what with Whitney's mention of Fred, and the fact that I should be writing an assignment, I just had to re-read that part of the Ritter Legacy And this just made me giggle: Picture

Resurrecting this thread because I'm in a random sims mood I've been sick for the past couple of days, but today I've been well enough to be a bit bored of just lying in bed (albeit still too sick do do much except for short periods of time), and so I've been watching some videos from Sims1 on Youtube. And oh, the nostalgia! I really miss Makin Magic, I just loved the whole feel of that expansion. And the old town in Pets. And how weird sims looked when they ran. I've also been a bit nostalgic towards TS2 lately, a couple of weeks ago I played for a bit, which was fun. Funny thing is, since playing TS3 I've become more patient with TS2 Anyone else have any nostalgic memories of TS1?

Yeah, there was a lot of things to love about TS1. I loved the Roomies and played them all the time. I loved how babies were born! I miss the pets and how they were pretty much puppies and kittens forever.

I really loved Downtown from Hot Date for some reason. Looking at the pre-made lots from it is kinda fun.
