Yay Emma! Hope you like the game. .smile: I'm sure Natalie was disappointed. So...guys, I have a question for you. I'm asking for your opinion. Here's the tale of my misfortunes ( ): When I got the game I put my sim down in Sunset Valley and played her for a day. She was girlfriend to a Maxis sim, Cristopher Steel. I noticed that sims were aging and having mysterious kids and became irked over it. Then Pescado released his hack and thinking that it would stop people from aging I installed it and exported my sim to a newly created 'hood. She lost her relationships but no big deal. Second day I started playing my sim in the brand new hood. I made her meet her intended, got them married, had a kid, etc. Turns out that turning Story Progression on doesn't stop sims from growing old, even if it stops them from marrying, moving out, having kids, etc. So I discover that sims are aging anyway. At this point I become irked again. Now, what to do? I have various ideas in mind. I could import my sim family to a new Sunset Valley once again, turn aging and SP off and just make them age whenever I please. This time I could play TS2 style, play the other families, etc. But I'm a bit reticent to do this because I'm afraid of possible problems (two Cristopher Steels, even though I guess it would be possible to evict him before I start playing) and because I don't want them to lose their relationships again. My other option is play how the game is intended, that is aging and story progresion on, and wait for Pescado to release his hack that will make it possible to play various households without the others moving out. To do this I could either just turn SP on in the hood where I have my sims married or go back to my first hood and do the whole marriage thing again. I would be sad to lose the toddler though. Problem is that in the first hood people had been having kids already, and in the second one many of those people are already too old for that, so I would lose some first generation kids that could have existed otherwise. So. This post must be incredibly long at this rate. What do you think? What would you do?

I have some more pictures to share (I hope it's ok that I share them here Or should they be in the pics and impressions thread?) Here is Natalie playing her guitar. At night. I love how it looks like he's going to tap her shoulder Absent minded Natalie suddenly wonders what she's doing. Engagement and marriage They had a private wedding at Stoney Falls. A now older Bella Bachelor (not sure which stage she's in) I'm kind of dissapointed that she's not wearing red

You can do Set Age in the cheat box and reset your sims age if you don't want them to be older. Don't know what effect that has on the days the Sims has to live. Did you set your days to the longest amount?

Have you noticed the wind blows the trees. Awesome! I thought I was imagining it at first but it's there. Maybe a precusser to Seasons?

What exactly do you have to type in the cheat console to make the set age cheat work, Carol? I tried it today but it wasn't working. Also, what's the cheat to select the sims you aren't playing? I used it the other day but today I couldn't recall the exact wording and it wasn't working either. I didn't adjust the slider to make the sims live longer. Today I had a baby kidnapped in TS3. Not a game feature, mind you, but a bug. A guest (who, to make things funnier, was the kid's babysitter) left the birthday party with the toddler on his arms and went all the way to a house and went in there still holding the kid, whose portrait disappeared at this point from the control menu. I couldn't believe it. Had the dad go to the house and ask to go in but no sight of the baby. After doing a bit of research I was able to get the baby back by going to the edit hood screen and evicting her with one of the adults (she was still appearing on the family's house). After joining them back she was there safely.

I love the new interactions that keep popping up! Stiles (Natalie's husband) was talking to her best friend, and had the option to "confess attraction to Natalie" lol. He also had the option to gossip about her. And here are some pregnancy pictures Natalie's best friend Pauline feeling her tummy. Stiles confessing to Pauline that he's attracted to Natalie. Stiles being a good husband and giving Natalie a massage when she's achy from being pregnant.

Jessica type Set Age with the caps the way I have them. I haven't tried it yet but everything else I've tried has worked so this should too. Thank goodness you no longer have to do that boolProp nonsense. I'll type up a full list and maybe Kiri will sticky it.

Oh lovely pics Thea! I hope you will show us more of the birth and what the baby looks like! As a matter of interest, is there a particular set of clothes they use for maternity wear like in TS2? Felicity

She did change into a different set of clothes for her pregnancy. I dunno if you can change them, I didn't think of trying Maybe I'll try that with the next one (whenever that may be). Natalie gave birth to a little boy (which she had a whish for. I kind of regret not promising that to her lol). His name is Peter (after Peter Carlisle in Blackpool, boyfriend of Natalie Holden whom Natalie is named after). I'll post some pics once I've taken some more of him

Has anyone else tried using print-screen or SimCamera with the game? I'm finding they both work but the picture is VERY dark.

Pictures do come out really dark. The only way to take bright pics is to make them while playing on a window. I think it's because the game changes the computer's contrast when played on full screen.

I've heard that the in game camera actually does a pretty nice job and the pictures come out as light as they should. Of course, there are some cases where a print screen would be better I suppose...

I like the in game camera and it suits my needs just fine. I never used the other camera anyway.

People keep turning my sim down when she invites them over, or just not turning up. It's happened so much I'm almost wondering if it's a bug.
